ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MAINTENANCE)

Our Client a Leading Multinational Energy Company, being a major Oil & Gas producer, URGENTLY seeking candidates to fill below positions;

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MAINTENANCE)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Formal education (Diplomas): Electrical Engineering

Professional experience (number of years): 5-7

Duties:

*

Issues, reviews and maintains the maintenance procedures.
* Analyses all work reports of electrical disciplines.
* Elaborating and optimising of the maintenance general guidelines and procedures.
* Performing preventive & corrective maintenance (as required) interventions in all sites.
* Issuing/preparing the technical report & recommendation.
* Initiating & analysing of the spare parts (stock management & consumption).
* Contributes to define the maintenance policy and regulation in all electrical system.
* Initiates and manages (in his area of responsibility) :
- Repair contract (scope of work definition).
- Standardisation of procedures.
- Official electrical certification for production equipment including all related protection settings.
* Ensure the conformity of the electrical equipment & control system integration of new production facility to the existing one with T.I. applicable standard, vendor specification, good engineering practices and implemented maintenance policy.
* Contributes to ensure maintainability and operability of electrical installation of new plants/projects at his area of responsibility
* Provides expertise (technical advise / assistance) in any trouble shooting in Electrical matters as required.
* Prepares, proposes and manages maintenance annual budgets for his area of responsibility mainly for consumable & non stock materials, contracts, tools and movable assets in liaison with all sites maintenance superintendents.
* Proposes, reviews & give technical recommendation to the modification / MRS issued by sites.
* Participates in technical recommendation during project phase to get smooth integration.
* Represents company on repair/test witnessing and prepares claim letters in case of any technical disputes (mainly, generator overhaul, warranty claim, project punchlist, etc).
* Defines and proposes training for T.I. electricians and electrical supervisors at his area
* Conducts and follows-up electrical maintenance activities as per Company Rule at his area
* Prepare, issue and launch the maintenance contracts in term of upgrading, audit clearance, replacement, etc at his area responsibility
* Follows-up closely Contractor and Vendor works and ensures the works are performed as per contract
* Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.
